MAIL-IN RENEWAL OPTION

Driver’s License/ID Card Renewal

For Jefferson County residents ONLY

 

Please read all information carefully before applying.

 

Please Note: You may NOT use the Mail-In process to renew your license if you have a Change of address/name (those services require an in-person visit to a driver’s license branch)

Valid ONLY for applicants whose driver’s license/ID card expired or was lost/stolen between

March 1, 2020 – Feb. 28, 2021 ONLY

AND who do NOT require additional testing

Not applicable for CDL renewals.

 

 

Notes:

–Do not mail cash

–Keep your old license; do not mail it in (Your existing photo on file will be used)

 

Individuals with a driver’s license, permit or ID card that expired/will expire or was lost/stolen between March 1, 2020-Feb. 28, 2021, who wish to obtain a renewal or reissuance may apply through the remote Mail-In application process.

You must complete Form TC 94-191.

Make check or money order payable to: “Jefferson Circuit Court Clerk”  — do NOT mail cash.
